Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Game Overview
Hearthstone is a F2P trading card game (CCG), an amazing MMO that appeals to both casual and hardcore audiences. Fans of Magic; The Gathering and other trading card games should find a lot to like in Blizzard’s Hearthstone, especially since much of the game’s mechanics are similar to Magic’s.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Gameplay: The match begins with a coin toss to determine who goes first, followed by both players drawing their starting hands: three cards for the coin toss winner, four for the other player. The loser of the coin toss also gets The Coin: a special zero cost card that temporarily increases your mana by one. You can mulligan as many cards from your starting hands as you like. Once both players accept their hand, the match proper begins.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft game features; 500+ trading cards (with new cards being introduced regularly), 9 heroes (based on the 9 original classes in World of Warcraft), and a fun drafting system. The game’s cards are broken down into two categories – hero cards and regular cards. Every hero has their own set of hero cards and can use regular cards to build their decks.
With each hero having their own hero power and unique cards, there’s virtually an incredible amount of variety in the types of decks players can make. Hearthstone is easily one of the most polished, if not most polished, trading card games available. The game is also a cross-platform, meaning it can be enjoyed on Windows, Mac OS X, Android, and iOS.
