Blizzard wants to make World of Warcraft’s next arena season bigger, better, and more rewarding for competitors. The studio has released the details for the 2017 Arena Season.
This year, any team can sign up for a chance to compete; no minimum rating required. Of course, you and your buddies will have to qualify for the Regional Championships, where 12 teams from both North America and Europe will fight for glory and money.
The Qualifiers will reward $6,000 to the winners. Meanwhile the Regional Championship competitors will duke it out for $100,000. And if you’re talented and you make it, then the World Championship holds a $250,000 prize pool to compete.
