Icebird Games’ RTS/MOBA hybrid Subsiege has officially launched on Steam Early Access. The game tasks players with defeating all opposing teams while simultaneously attempting to gather resources to buy and upgrade ships, including replacing lost ships, and gather oxygen to stay alive. A timer is constantly ticking down as you play, reminding you that your time is finite if you don’t find more oxygen. Up to 12 players in total can take part in each match and each team can be made up of either one or two players.
The game also makes use of MOBA-like abilities. Players can choose between several different upgrades for each of their ships, some of which are abilities that can be activated and used in the same manner as abilities in a MOBA. You press the key, aim, and fire.
Subsiege is now available on Steam Early Access for the price of $29.99, temporarily discounted to $19.50 for the week of launch.
