Battlefield 1’s first expansion will be available starting on March 14th and EA has released a trailer, completely in French, to show that They Shall Not Pass the expansion’s title. The French army will be joining the fray along with four additional maps. What else is included?
Two new operations. New game mode, called Frontlines. New weapons, vehicles, etc. They Shall Not Pass also promises new tools to wage The Great War, such as the French super-heavy tank the Char 2C, the largest operational tank ever constructed. Along with the Saint-Chamond, the second French heavy tank of WWI. Players will also inhabit a new class, the Trench Raider: wielding a club and utilizing grenades. And there’s a stationary weapon to fire in from afar, the Siege Howitzer.
You will have to own the Premium Pass to play on March 14th, a $50 purchase. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until March 28th to buy the expansion by itself.
They Shall Not Pass is just the first of four expansions planned for Battlefield 1.
